RTE to cover St. Patrick's Day in Bundoran

Discover Bundoran is pleased to confirm that St. Patrick's Day in Bundoran 2010 will be covered by RTE News as one of five locations in the North West. Businesses and groups have been working away over the past few weeks in preparation for this year's celebrations. 

Themed loosely around Clean and Green concerns the parade will feature professional level stilt-walking from Magh Éne VEC students, Mna le Cheile in costumes made from recycled materials and a Tidy Towns float as well as seven marching bands and the usual assortment of humourous floats. I won't place bets on what St. Patrick may be driving out of ireland in 2010!

The Bundoran St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at the East End of the Town at 3:30 pm with judging at the Holyrood Hotel and awards ceremony afterwards for participants at the Magh Éne VEC Hall.
