The magnificent links along the Atlantic seaboard exploit the spectacular coastal landscape and provide some of the most challenging and exhilariting golf in Ireland. Our coastline has attracted golf designers from the earliest times; Old Tom Morris, Braid, Vardon,Colt and Allison left early foot prints to be followed by Hackett, Merrigan,Steele, Craddock, Ruddy and just recently, Darren clarke.
Donegal bay provides the ideal 'hub' destination to explore and take on the challenge that many of these courses have to offer. A little known fact is that the county of Donegal has the largest number of Links Courses in Ireland-no matter where you go in the county, you'll only be a short stroll from the best that Ireland has to offer
Bundoran Golf Club dates back to 1894 and is a Championship 18 hole Golf Course. Presenting a challenging par 70, the course sweeps along the coastline with a mixture of dunes and undulating terrain.
Bundoran is a Golfers paradise with five excellent courses all within a short travelling distance.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Bundoran's, 18 hole, championship course is a fine coastal course, which annually hosts two International competitions and a renowned Summer Open.
Donegal Golf Club, at Murvagh, is a beautiful links course, set in the duneland behind Murvagh Beach. It is reputed to be one of the longest courses in Europe!
Golfers will surely be spoilt for choice, as other courses close by in County Sligo include, Rosses Point, Strandhill and Enniscrone.
